 How To Activate GPRS / MMS |
First you need to Select a Plan
to view Postpaid and Prepaid GPRS Plans.
How to receive settings and configure Handsets-
1) To subscribe and activate GPRS sms FRESH to 4666 (tollfree number). You will receive instructions to receive settings and configure your handset.
OR
Call up customer care and ask them to activate GPRS and send the settings for GPRS. They would take your handset details and send you appropriate settings.
2) In case after receiving the settings above, you change your handset, then you can request for settings by sending an SMS as mentioned below :
Send following SMS request to Shortcode 4666 (toll free number) :
1. Message text for receiving GPRS settings - > GPRS eg. GPRS nokia 6230
NOTE: For manufacturer name in above 4 options; use minimum first three letters of the name eg. nok for NOKIA ,
sam for SAMSUNG , phi for Philips etc . . .
For some specific handsets , such as Nokia 6230 a network pin is required to be entered.
The PIN to be entered will be 1.
